Stipules whitish-membranous, the lower ones widely ovate, round-tipped, the upper ones narrowly triangular, obtuse, all adnate to the petiole for 1–2 mm. Leaves 15–30(–35) cm; petiole 5–9 cm, like the rachis sulcate adaxially, sometimes slightly hardening and persistent up to the next vegetation period. Leaflets in 5–8(–10) pairs, remote, widely ovate to suborbicular, (6–)10–15(–20) × (5–)8–12(–15) mm, rounded or slightly retuse. Racemes nearly sessile, 2–4-flowered.
