Podlech & Zarre (2013), vol. III, p. 1757Plants 3–6 cm tall, forming prostrate, rather dense mats, white hairy. Rootstock repeatedly divided, with mostly long, subterranean branches. Stems 0.5–4(–6) cm, very densely tomentose with symmetrically to extremely asymmetrically bifurcate to subbasifixed, partly curled or flexuous, tangled, ascending to spreading hairs up to 1 mm. Stipules whitish-hyaline, 3–4 mm, adnate to the petiole for c. 1 mm, fully vaginate-connate into a sheeth surrounding the stem and the base of petiole, triangularly bidentate at the tip, densely ± appressed hairy. Leaves 1.5–3(–4) cm; petiole 1–2 cm, like the rachis rather densely covered with subappressed to partly ascending hairs up to 0.5 mm. Leaflets in 2–4 pairs, subflabellately crowded, narrowly obovate to obovate, rounded, cuneate at the base, 4–6 × 1.5–2 mm, densely covered with appressed to subappressed white hairs up to 0.5 mm. Racemes sessile or with a hairy peduncle 2–3 mm, 1–2-flowered. Bracts narrowly triangular, 2–2.5 mm, densely white hairy. Flowers subsessile. Calyx tubular, 6–8 mm, densely covered with subappressed, tangled, often flexuous hairs up to 0.5 mm; teeth subulate, 1–2 mm. Petals pink, rarely white. Keel 11–12 mm; blades oblong to obliquely elliptic, with in upper part widely curved lower edge and nearly straight upper edge, obtuse, 5 × 2 mm; auricle short, claw 7 mm. Stamen-tube truncate at the mouth. Ovary sessile, densely white hairy; style long, glabrous. Legumes sessile, 4–5 mm long, 2.5–3 mm high and 4–5 mm wide, densely white-tomentose.
