Stems 10–37 cm, unbranched, terete, at the base covered with hyaline, scalelike, leafless stipules, sometimes with few medifixed, appressed white hairs 0.1–0.3 mm at the base of the stems. Foliar stipules green, (4–) 6–12 mm, lunate, subacute, free from the petiole, shortly connate behind the stem, glabrous or at the margins with scattered, appressed, strongly asymmetrically bifurcate white hairs 0.1–0.3 mm. Leaves (6–)10–15 cm; petiole firm, rigid, 3–4 cm. Leaflets in 3–4(–7 pairs, widely elliptic to orbicular, 5–11 × 4–11 mm, subacute to rounded, shortly acuminate. Peduncles 7–14 cm. Racemes (8–)15–20 cm long, very remotely (8–)14–20-flowered. Bracts hyaline-margined, 3–5 mm, narrowly triangular. Pedicels 1.5–2.5 mm.
