Rootstock up to 5 mm thick, with a pluricipital root-crown, with many slender, subterranean stolons 1−3(−8) cm, sometimes furnished with scale-like stipules. Stipules white-membranous, 5−8 mm, narrowly triangular, adnate to the petiole for c. 3 mm, glabrous or ciliate at the margins. Leaves 4−14 cm, subsessile or with a petiole up to 1 cm; rachis sparsely covered with ascending hairs. Leaflets in (11−)12−18 pairs, narrowly ovate to narrowly elliptic, 4−8(−13) × 2−4(−6) mm, round- tipped or slightly retuse, on upper side glabrous, on undersidesparsely to loosely, more rarely rather densely covered with subappressed to ascending hairs or nearly glabrous, with distinct, prominent midnerv. Racemes subsessile, loosely to densely 4−6(−7)-flowered. Bracts white-membranous or slightly greenish, 4−6 mm, linear-acuminate, glabrous or ciliate. Pedicels 2−4 mm, glabrous. Stamen-tube obliquely cut at the mouth. Ovary subsessile, glabrous or hairy; style glabrous.
