Podlech & Zarre (2013), vol. I, p. 736Plants 6−15 cm tall, acaulescent to subacaulescent, caespitose, furnished with spreading white hairs up to 2 mm. Rootstock up to 20 mm in diameter, with a pluricipital root-crown, with subteranean to aerial stolons up to 5 cm, covered in upper part with remnants of old leaves. Stipules membranous, whitish to reddish, 6−10 mm, the lower ones widely ovate to widely oblong, obtuse, the upper ones narrowly triangular-acute, all adnate to the petiole for c. 2 mm, densely ciliate at the margins, otherwise glabrous or more rarely sparsely hairy toward the tip. Leaves 5−18 cm; petiole 3−9 cm, like the rachis rather densely to densely covered with spreading, unequal hairs 0.3−2 mm. Leaflets in 7−15(−20) congested whorls with (4−)5−6(−7) leaflets each, narrowly elliptic to narrowly obovate, (3−)7−11 × (1−)1.5−3 mm, obtuse to more rarely subacute, on both sides densely sericeous with ascending hairs. Wings 19−26 mm; blades narrowly oblong, slightly dilated upward, obliquely truncate to slightly emarginate, 9−10 × 2.5−3.5 mm; auricle c. 1.5 mm, claw 12−14 mm. Keel 17−20(−21) mm; blades obliquely elliptic-triangular, with widely rectangularly curved lower edge and straight to slightly curved upper edge, subacute, 5−6 × 4 mm; auricle wide, indistinct, claw 11−12 mm. Stamen-tube obliquely cut at the mouth. Ovary with a stipe 1−2 mm, hairy; style glabrous. Legumes with a stipe 1−2 mm, narrowly oblong, 13−15 mm long, 5−6 mm high and wide, keeled ventrally, widely grooved dorsally, with a beak 2−3 mm, incompletely bilocular; valves thin with appressed long hairs; fruit opening along the ventral suture. Seeds 2−3 × 1.5−2 mm, brown.
