Rootstock slender, simple to branched, with rather long subterranean stolons, covered in upper part remotely with stipule-like scales. Stems, if present, 1−3 cm, angular- sulcate, densely covered with spreading hairs. Stipules white-membranous, 8−15 mm, adnate to the petiole for 2−3 mm, sparsely hairy, long ciliate at the margins, the lower ones ovate to oblong, obtuse, the upper ones oblong to narrowly triangular, subobtuse to acute. Leaves (5−)8−25(−30) cm; petiole (1.5−)3−8(−10) cm, like the rachis sparsely to densely covered with spreading hairs 0.5−2 mm. Leaflets in (10−)15−25 pairs, narrowly elliptic to elliptic or ovate, (5−)7−18(−20) × (2.5−)4.5−9(−10) mm, rounded to acute and mostly shortly apiculate, on both sides loosely to densely covered with appressed to ascending hairs. Wings (13−)15−19(−20) mm; blades narrowly oblong, obtuse, 12−16 × 2−3 mm, on nearly the whole outside appressed hairy; auricle c. 0.5 mm, claw 2−4 mm. Keel 6−8 mm; blade elliptic, straight, narrowed upward. obtuse to subacute, 4−6 × 2 mm; auricle very short, claw 2−2.5 mm. Stamen-tube truncate at the mouth. Ovary sessile, hairy; style very short, glabrous. Legumes sessile, obliquely oblong, 8−16 mm long, c. 6 mm high and 4 mm wide, keeled ventrally, grooved dorsally, with a very short, subulate, recurved beak, incompletely bilocular (septum c. 3/4 of the fruit’s hight); valves thin,. pale brown, covered with soft, ascending hairs.
