Podlech & Zarre (2013), vol. III, p. 2135Plants shrubby, 10−20 cm tall. Rootstock stout, branched. Stems many, strongly branched, prostrate to ascending, the old ones mostly thick, 10−15 mm in diameter, parts of the current year 5−12 cm, slender, branched, densely white hairy with few black hairs mixed in. Stipules greenish, up to 3 mm, ovate to triangular, shortly adnate to the petiole, hairy. Leaves 1−2 cm; petiole short, like the rachis white hairy. Leaflets in 3−6 pairs, narrowly ovate to narrowly obovate, 3−6 × 1.5−2 mm, on both sides appressed white hairy. Peduncles 3−3.5 cm, white hairy. Racemes oblong, loosely 1−2-flowered. Bracts 1.5−2 mm, triangular, white and black hairy. Pedicels up to 2 mm, densely white and predominantly black hairy. Calyx 16−17 mm, initially tubular, at fruiting time ovoid-inflated, appressed white and black hairy; teeth triangular, 2−2.5 mm. Petals yellow. Standard 25−26 mm; blade 8−9 mm wide, narrowly obovate, widely retuse, in lower third slightly constricted, gradually narrowed into the short claw.
