Stems many, 1−2(−4) cm, slender, angular, loosely to densely covered with medifixed, appressed white hairs c. 0.5 mm, with some black hairs mixed in. Stipules greenish, 4−10 mm, narrowly triangular, free or the lower slightly connate, ± densely covered with ascending white and black hairs. Leaves 2−6 cm; petiole 0.5−1 cm, with the rachis hairy like the stem. Leaflets in 3−4(−6) pairs, narrowly ovate to linear, 15−30 × 1−4 mm, rarely partly (the lower ones) ovate or elliptic, 3−10 mm long, all acute, on both sides covered with appressed, medifixed white hairs 0.8−1 mm. Peduncles 1−2(−3) cm, thicker than the petiole, hairy like the stem but I upper part with increasing, partly ascending black hairs. Racemes ± globose, 2−3 cm long, densely 10−15-flowered. Bracts greenish, narrowly triangular, acute, the lower ones 8−15 mm, the upper ones 7−10 mm, white and black hairy. Calyx 17−20 mm, subovoid-tubular, distinctly obliquely gibbous at the base, gradually narrowed toward the mouth, villous with soft, subbasifixed, spreading white hairs c. 2 mm; teeth subulate, 8−10 mm, covered with white and short black hairs. Petals bright or dingy yellow. Standard 18−21 mm; blade 8−9 mm wide, elliptic, auriculate-angularly passing into the rather short claw. Wings 16−18 mm; blades narrowly oblong, emarginate. Keel 15−15.5 mm. Legumes enclosed in the slightly inflated-ovoid, but early ruptured calyx, narrowly oblong, c. 10 mm long, 3 mm high, compressed laterally, acute, bilocular; valves covered with short, spreading white hairs. Seeds ear-shaped, c. 3 mm long, brown, smooth.
