Stems 7−40 cm, prostrate to ascending, finely sulcate, rather densely hairy. Stipules green, (1−)2−3.5(−4.5) mm, triangular-acuminate, adnate to the petiole for 0.5−0.8 mm, otherwise free, white and black hairy. Leaves 2−4.5 cm, sessile to subsessile; rachis with short white hairs. Leaflets in 5−9 pairs, narrowly elliptic, 1.5−13 × 0.8−3.2 mm, acute to subobtuse, on both sides rather densely hairy. Peduncles 1.5−4.5 cm, hairy like the stem but with increasing black hairs toward the raceme. Racemes globose, densely 2−8(−10)-flowered. Bracts membranous, 1−2 mm, triangular-acute, white and black hairy. Flowers nearly sessile. Calyx campanulate, 3−4 mm, covered with appressed black and white hairs 0.2−0.6 mm, only at the teeth with longer hairs; teeth subulate, 1−1.3 mm. Petals mauve or cream. Wings 4−5(−6) mm; blades oblong, emarginate, (1.5−)2−3 mm; auricle c. 0.5 mm, claw 2−2.5 mm. Keel (3−)4−4.5 mm; blades triangular- obovate, with strongly curved lower edge and slightly curved upper edge, acute, (1−)1.5−1.8 × 1 mm; claw 2−2.5 mm. Stamen-tube truncate at the mouth. Ovary sessile, hairy; style short, glabrous. Legumes sessile, starlike arranged, narrowly oblong, bigibbous at the base, 10−15 mm long, 2.5−4 mm high and 2−3 mm wide, rounded ventrally, deeply grooved dorsally, acute, bilocular; valves covered with two kinds of appressed hairs: short ones 0.1−0.2 mm and much longer, up to 1 mm and inserted on little tubercles.
