Stipules whitish or with greenish nerves, 8−15 mm, adnate to the petiole for c. 2 mm, the lower ones ovate, ciliate at the tip, the upper ones narrowly triangular, ciliate or also hairy toward the tip. Leaves 6−19(−25) cm; petiole 2−5 cm, like the rachis sparsely to loosely, sometimes at the base also more densely covered with spreading hairs 0.5−1.5(−2) mm. Leaflets in 15−22(−27) pairs, narrowly ovate to elliptic, 5−15(−24) × 3−6(−10) mm, obtuse, on upper side glabrous or sparsely to loosely hairy toward the margins, on underside loosely to rather densely covered with long, ascending hairs.
