Stems of the current year 10−30 cm, erect or ascending, densely covered with medifixed, appressed, white hairs 0.6−0.8 mm. Stipules membranous, 3−4 mm, triangular-ovate, adnate to the petiole for 1−2 mm, densely covered with appressed white hairs, with black hairs mixed in. Leaves short, subsessile; rachis hairy like the stem, becoming hard and persistent. Leaflets in 1−3 pairs, oblong to narrowly obovate, 15−25 × 4−10 mm, obtuse to subobtuse, on both sides rather densely covered with medifixed, appressed white hairs 0.8−1.2 mm. Peduncles 10−14 cm, c. 1.5 mm thick, rather densely hairy like the rachis, partly glabrescent with age. Racemes short, 5−15-flowered. Bracts membranous, 1−2 mm, narrowly triangular, black hairy.
