Podlech & Zarre (2013), vol. I, p. 518Plants up to 30 cm tall, acaulescent, covered with white hairs. Rootstock in upper part covered with remnants of old leaves. Stipules whitish-membranous, oblong-acuminate, 16−18 mm, shortly adnate to the petiole, ciliate at the margins. Leaves 20−26 cm; petiole like the rachis densely wooly-felty with tangled hairs. Leaflets in 22−26(−30) pairs, elliptic, 13−18 × 10−12 mm, acuminate, on both side densely tomentose-wooly hairy. Racemes numerous, sessile, 2−6-flowered, at the base of leaves forming a dense head. Bracts oblong, 10−12 mm, ciliate at the margins. Pedicels very short or up to 1−2 mm, sparsely hairy. Calyx 20−24 mm, tubular, hairy; teeth filiform, 12−14 mm. Petals glabrous, yellow. Standard 17−19 mm; blade 7−8 mm wide, oblong, emarginate, narrowed into the short claw. Wings nearly as long as the standard; blades narrowly oblong, emarginate, 7−8 mm. Keel 13−14 mm; blades obliquely oblong, beak-like narrowed at the tip; claw longer than the blade. Ovary sessile, densely long hairy; style glabrous. Legumes unknown.
