Podlech & Zarre (2013), vol. III, p. 1865Plants subshrubby. Stems 10−20 cm, ascending, older parts ligneous, brownish, parts of the current year with appressed white hairs. Stipules 3−6 mm, adnate to the petiole up to 1/3. Leaves 3−8 cm; with a short petiole. Leaflets in 4−7 pairs, narrowly ovate, (5−)7−13(−20) × 1−2(−3) mm, with appressed white hairs. Peduncles 4−11 cm; racemes capitate, 4−6-flowered. Bracts membranous, 1.5−2.5(−3) mm. Calyx 7−8.5 mm, tubular, with appressed white and black hairs; teeth 2−2.5 mm. Petals whitish, in dry state yellowish. Standard 17−20 mm; blade 7−8 mm wide, subrhombic-oblong, emarginate. Wings 15−17 mm; blades slightly emarginate. Keel 12−14 mm; Ovary 6−9 mm with style 6−7 mm. Legumes linear, mostly slightly curved, (15−)17−23 mm long, 2−2.5 mm high, attenuate; valves densely villous, with spreading white hairs, very rarely with few black hairs mixed in.
