Rootstock up to 10 mm thick, with a pluricipital root-crown. Stipules whitish- membranous, 10−15 mm, the lower ones ovate-obtuse, mostly glabrous, the upper ones triangular- acute, at the margins and tip ciliate, all adnate to the petiole for 2−3 mm. Leaves 20−27 mm; petiole 4−7 mm, like the rachis finely striate, stout, up to 3 mm thick at the base, glabrous. Leaflets in 7−11 pairs, 14−22 × 8−15 mm, rounded but mostly abruptly contracted into mucro 1−1.5 mm, on upper side glabrous, on underside glabrous or at the midvein with scattered hairs, the margins whitish- cartilagineous and sparsely furnished with long hairs mostly sitting on cartilagineous tubercles, the margins therfore often looking minutely denticulate. Peduncles 1.5−4(−5) cm, glabrous. Racemes loosely 3−4-flowered. Bracts whitish-membranous, linear-acute, 7−12 mm, ciliate especially at the tip. Calyx 14−16 mm, tubular, glabrous in basal part or sparsely hairy, in upper part more densely covered with long, spreading hairs; teeth 2−3 mm, ciliate. Petals glabrous, yellow. Standard 26−29 mm; blade c. 10 mm wide, elliptic, emarginate, at the base gradually narrowed. Wings 25−28 mm; blades narrowly oblong, rounded, c. 12 × 2.5 mm; auricle c. 2 mm, claw 13−15 mm. Keel 22−25 mm; blades obliquely elliptic, with widely gibbously curved lower edge and nearly straight upper edge, widely rounded, c. 9 × 4 mm; auricle short, widely triangular, claw 13−15 mm. Stamen-tube slightly obliquely cut at the mouth. Ovary with a stipe c. 2 mm, hairy.; style glabrous. Legumes with a stipe 1−3 mm, narrowly oblong, attenuate at both ends, 35−55 mm long, 7−8 mm high and 8−9 mm wide, keeled ventrally, widely flattened with distinct midvein dorsally, with a curved beak 3−5 mm, bilocular; valves thin but tough, straw-colored or brownish suffused, distingly longitudinally rugose, sparsely covered with long spreading hairs, often glabrescent with age.
