Stems of the preceding years up to 15 cm, with brownish bark; parts of the current year 5−10 cm, densely appressed hairy. Stipules pale yellow, 2−2.5 mm, adnate to the petiole and vaginate- connate mostly for the whole length, sparsely appressed hairy. Leaves 1.3−2 cm; petiole with rachis together 0.2−1 cm, densely covered with appressed hairs. Leaflets in 1−2 pairs, narrowly elliptic, 6−8 × 1.5−2(−2.5) mm, on both sides appressed hairs. Peduncles up to 2 cm, covered with appressed white hairs. Racemes 3−4 cm long, loosely 5−10-flowered. Bracts 1 mm, ovate, sparsely white and black hairy. Pedicels ?. Calyx 6 mm, campanulate-tubular, covered with subappressed white and black hairs; teeth subulate, c. 1.5 mm. Petals ? violet. Standard ca, 12 mm; blade widely elliptic, scarcely emarginate, in the middle constricted, with a cuneate claw. Wings c. 11 mm; blades narrowly oblong, scarcely emarginate, as long as the claw. Keel 9 mm. Ovary sessile, glabrous or covered with short appressed hairs. Legumes sessile, obliquely narrowly elliptic, 6−7 mm long, 2−2.5 mm high, keeled ventrally, rounded dorsally, with a slightly curved, subulate beak c. 2 mm, bilocular; valves thinly coriaceous, glabrous or covered with some very short appressed hairs.
