Peduncles 3−5 cm, slender, appressed white hairy, below the raceme with black hairs mixed in. Racemes short, subumbellate, loosely 4−5-flowered. Bracts c. 4.5 mm, narrowly ovate-triangular, with short black hairs. Calyx 8−10 mm, tubular, covered with short, ascending black and fewer white hairs; teeth narrowly triangular, 2−2.5 mm. Petals pale purple. Standard c. 20 mm; blade c. 6 mm wide, narrowly elliptic, emarginate, subabruptly contracted into the claw.
