Podlech & Zarre (2013), vol. I, p. 455Plants 35–40 cm tall, nearly acaulescent. Stipules membranous, 12–15 mm, narrowly triangular. free, white ciliate at the margin. Leaves 30–37 cm; petiole like the rachis distinctly grooved adaxially, sparsely white hairy. Leaflets in 13–17 pairs, 50–70 × 3–8 mm, linear, glabrous on upper side, appressed white hairy on underside. Peduncle 20–25 cm, sparsely covered with spreading white and black hairs. Raceme 5–9 cm, loosely 8–10 flowered. Bracts 6–8 mm, linear, white and black hairy. Pedicels 2–5 mm, black hairy. Calyx 15–17 mm, tubular, white and black hairy; teeth subulate, 3–5 mm. Petals yellow. Standard 35–40 mm; blade narrowly oblong, 6–8 mm wide, incised, abruptly contracted into the claw 10–12 mm. Wings 32–35 mm; blades narrowly oblong, narrowed toward the round-tip. Keel as long as the wings. Ovary with a long stipe. Legumes with a stipe 12–15 mm, narrowly oblong-elliptic, 25–35 mm long, 7–8 mm high, keeled ventrally, flat dorsally, triangular in cross-section, with a beak c. 1 mm, incompletely bilocular; valves firm, glabrous. Seeds 5–6 mm long, dark brown, wrinkled.
