Podlech & Zarre (2013), vol. III, p. 1870Plants 15−32 cm tall. Rootstock with a pluricipital root-crown, subterranean branches very short. Stems 6−25 cm, unbranched, angular-sulcate, loosely to rather densely covered with medifixed, appressed white hairs 0.6−1 mm, with scattered black hairs mixed in escepecially at the nodes, glabrescent with age and in fruit only sparsely hairy. Stipules greenish, 3−5 mm, narrowly triangular to triangular, nearly free from the petiole, covered with white and black hairs. Leaves 4−12 cm; petiole 1.5−4 cm, with the rachis slender, loosely to rather densely hairy like the stem, glabrescent with age. Leaflets in (5−)6−7(−9) pairs, narrowly elliptic, (5−)10−25 × 1−4 mm, subacute to shortly acuminate, on both sides loosely covered with medifixed, appressed white hairs 1−1.5 mm. Peduncles (4−)6−9(−11) cm, slightly sulcate, loosely to rather densely hairy like the stem, toward pthe raceme mostly with some black hairs mixed in. Pedicels 1−2 mm, black hairy, erect, in fruit slightly, glabrescent, curved; floweres erect, legumes ± nodding. Calyx 12−15 mm, tubular, obliquely gibbous at the base, obliquely cut at the mouth, densely covered with ± medifixed, appressed black and fewer white hairs 0.4−0.7(−1) mm; teeth subulate, 3−4 mm, white hairy on inner side. Petals greenish-yellow. Standard 21−26 mm; blade c. 9 mm wide, rhombic-elliptic, in upper part subabruptly passing into a rather indistinct, wide short tongue, narrowly emarginate, in lower 1/3 cuneately narrowed, at the base subangularly passing into the rather short claw. Wings 20−22 mm; blades narrowly oblong, obtuse, c. 8 × 2 mm; auricle 1 mm, claw c. 12 mm. Keel 15−18 mm; blades obliquely elliptic, with widely curved lower edge and ± straight upper edge, subacute, c. 5 × 3.5 mm; auricle indistinct, claw c. 10 mm. Stamen-tube truncate at the mouth. Legumes subsessile, mostly slightly to distinctly nodding, narrowly oblong, scarcely curved, acute at both ends, 12−20 mm long, 2.5−3 mm high, c. 2 mm wide, obtusely keeled ventrally, shallowly grooved dorsally, with a slender, straight beak 2−3 mm, bilocular; valves thinly coriaceous, pale brown, rather densely covered with medifixed, appressed white hairs 0.6−1 mm, sometimes with black hairs mixed in.
