Podlech & Zarre (2013), vol. I, p. 526Plants c. 12 cm tall, acaulescent to shortly caulescent, with white, at the calyx also blackish hairs. Rootstock up to 10 mm thick, with a pluricipital root-crown, with subterranean stolons up to 8 cm, furnished with stipule-like, connate scales. Stem up to 5 cm, the lower internodes glabrous, the upper ones loosely covered with spreading hairs. Stipules white-membranous, 10−17 mm, adnate to the petiole for c. 1 mm, the lower ones ovate-obtuse, ciliate at the margins, the upper ones narrowly triangular-acute, sparsely hairy. Leaves 9−11 cm; petiole 3−5 cm, like the rachis loosely to rather densely covered with thin, spreading hairs 0.5−2 mm. Leaflets in 10−13 pairs, elliptic to obovate, 4−9 × 3−5 mm, rounded to slightly emarginate, on upper side glabrous, on underside loosely covered with nearly spreading hairs. Peduncles up to 1.5 cm, with spreading hairs. Racemes 3−5-flowered. Bracts membranous, 7−10 mm, linear-acute, ciliate. Pedicels 3−5 mm, sparsely covered with white and often also black hairs. Calyx 12−13 mm, tubular, sparsely, toward the top more densely covered with nearly spreading white and black hairs; teeth subulate, 4−6 mm. Petals glabrous, yellow. Standard 16−19 mm; blade c. 8 mm wide, obovate, emarginate, at the base cuneately narrowed. Wings 15−18 mm; blades narrowly oblong, rounded, 7−9 × c. 2.5 mm; auricle c. 3 mm, claw 7−10 mm. Keel 10−12 mm; blades obliquely elliptic-curved, with widely curved lower edge and concave upper edge, subacute, c. 7 × 3.5−4 mm; auricle wide, 1−1.5 mm, claw 8−10 mm. Stamen-tube obliquely cut at the mouth. Ovary with a stipe 3−5 mm, hairy; style glabrous. Legumes unknown.
