Stipules hyaline-membranous, 10–17 mm, adnate to the petiole for 5–8 mm, connate behind the stem for 1–4 mm, the free tips narrowly triangular-acuminate, glabrous or sparsely ciliate at the margins with hairs 0.2–0.3 mm. Leaves (2–) 3–8 cm; petiole (1–)1.5–2.5 cm, like the rachis rather densely to very densely covered with appressed to subappressed hairs 0.2–0.5 mm, spiny. Leaflets in 4–7 pairs, narrowly elliptic to elliptic, (5–)8–20(–30) × (1.5–)3–4.5 mm, acuminate, pungent, with a cusp 1–2 mm, on both sides rather densely to densely covered with appressed to subappressed hairs 0.3.0.6 mm. Peduncles 2.5–16 cm, ± erect, loosely to densely covered with appressed to subappressed hairs 0.3–0.5 mm and mostly with much fewer hairs 1–2 mm. Racemes ovoid to cylindricalal, 4–10 cm long and 2–3 cm in diameter, rather densely to densely many-flowered; axis with spreading hairs. Bracts persistent, rarely partly falling, pale brownish, hyaline-membranous, 10–17 × 4–7 mm, narrowly ovate-acute, sometimes shortly aristate, glabrous or very sparsely hairy at the base. Calyx 13–16 mm, at first tubular, 2.5–3 mm wide, later on inflated and 5–7 mm wide, pale yellowish or creamy, rarely with purplish teeth, rather densely covered with ± spreading hairs 2.5–4 mm; teeth subulate, 4–6 mm. Petals creamy to pale yellow. Standard 18–19 mm; blade 7–8 mm wide, obovate to oblong- panduriform, rounded, scarcely to distinctly constricted in lower part, at the base sharply angular- auriculate to gradually narrowed into the cuneate claw. Wings 16–18 mm; blades obovate to elliptic, obtuse, 7–8 × 2.5–3 mm; auricle up to 0.5 mm, claw 9–10 mm. Keel 14–16 mm; blades obliquely obovate; with widely, sometimes nearly rectangularly curved lower edge and nearly straight upper edge, subacute, 5–6 × 3 mm; auricle minute, claw 9–10 mm. Ovary c. 5 mm, ellipsoid, very densely covered with ascending hairs; style glabrous. Legumes subsessile, ellipsoid, c. 8–9 mm long, keeled ventrally, flattened dorsally; valves very densely appressed hairy. Seed only one, 4–5 × 2.5 mm.
