Podlech & Zarre (2013), vol. III, p. 1707Plants a subshrub 35–50 cm tall, branched, in all parts mostly very densely covered with appressed, often somewhat flexuous, merely white hairs. Stems of older years up to 10 cm, ligneous, parts of the current year prostrate to erect, mostly diffusely branched, very densely covered with ± medifixed hairs 0.8−1 mm. Stipules whitish- or pale brownish-hyalin, 3−4 mm, very shortly adnate to the petiole, behind the stem vaginate-connate highly up, with triangular free tips, appressed hairy. Leaves 4–10 cm; petiole 2–4 cm, together with the rachis hairy like the stem. Leaflets in 2–3(–4) pairs, all nearly sessile, only the terminal often with a leaflet petiole up to 3(–5) mm, all narrowly elliptic to narrowly obovate, 4–15(–20) × 2–5(–8) mm, rounded to minutely acuminate, on both sides densely covered with ± medifixed, somewhat flexuose, appressed hairs c. 1 mm. Peduncles 3–6 cm, densely covered with medifixed, appressed, somewhat tangled and flexuose hairs 0.8−1 mm. Raceme 4–10 cm long, remotely 4–8-flowered; axis hairy like the peduncle. Bracts pale-brownish-hyaline, c. 2 mm, narrowly triangular to narrowly ovate, hairy. Pedicels 0.5−1 mm, densely hairy. Calyx 6–7 mm, campanulate- tubular, very obliquely cut at the mouth, densely covered with medifixed, flexuose, appressed hairs c. 0.5 mm; teeth narrowly triangular to subulate, 0.5–1 mm, very densely hairy on inner side. Petals pale violet. Standard 13–15 mm; blade 5−6 mm wide, elliptic to obovate, slightly emarginate, at the base gradually narrowed. Wings 11–13 mm; blades narrowly oblong, obtuse, 5–6 × c. 1.5−2 mm; auricle c. 1 mm, claw 6–7 mm. Keel 10–12 mm; blades obliquely obovate, with in upper part widely an nearly reactangularly curved lower edge and ± straight upper edge, subacute, 5–6 × 2.5 mm; auricle triangular, c. 0.5 mm, claw 6–7 mm. Stamen-tube truncate at the mouth. Ovary sessile, densely white villous; style glabrous. Legumes sessile, ellipsoid, 6–8 mm long, 4–5 mm high and 3.5–4 mm wide, obtusely keeled ventrally, rounded to flattened dorsally, rounded at the tip with a slightly curved beak 1–2 mm, incompletely bilocular; valves thinly coriaceous, densely covered with tangled, ascending to spreading, ± flexuous, basifixed, thin white hairs 1−1.5 mm and with subappressed, ± medifixed, very short hairs.
