Stems mostly several, erect, (15−)30−50 cm, weakly branched in lower part, finely sulcate, sparsely to more rarely loosely white hairy or sometimes with scattered hairs only. Stipules greenish, 2−3 mm, covered with scattered appressed hairs, the lower ones triangular, shortly vaginate-connate, the upper ones triangular-ovate, acute, free from each other. Leaves 4−6 cm; petiole 0.5−1 cm, with the slender rachis hairy like the stem.
