Stems 15−26 cm, prostrate to ascending, finely sulcate, sparsely covered with hairs up to 0.5 mm, more densely hairy at the nodes. Stipules green, 1−2.5 mm, triangular, adnate to the petiole for 0.5−1 mm, appressed hairy. Leaves 2.5−5 cm; petiole 1−2.5 cm, with the rachis hairy like the stem. Leaflets in (2−)3−4 pairs, ovate but the end-leaflet mostly obovate, 3−9.5 × 2−6 mm, retuse, on upper side glabrous, on underside with hairs up to 0.5 mm. Racemes sessile or with a densely hairy peduncle up to 0.5 cm, densely 3−7-flowered. Bracts membranous, c. 1 mm, narrowly triangular, ciliate. Flowers subsessile. Calyx campanulate, c. 3 mm, densely appressed hairy; teeth narrowly triangular, 0.8−0.9 mm. Petals white with blue-tipped keel.
