Rootstock short, divided, with subterranean or aerial branches 1−5 cm, giving rise to short young sterile and fertile shoots. Stems very short, sulcate, densely covered with medifixed, appressed white hairs 0.2−0.3 mm. Stipules membranous, 6−9 mm, adnate to the petiole for 3−5 mm, free parts ovate-oblong, subobtuse, white hairy in upper part. Leaves 1−2 cm; petiole 0.3−0.5(−0.8) cm, covered with subappressed hairs. Leaflets in 1−2 pairs, close together, oblong-obovate, 5−10(−12) × 3−4(−6) mm, on upper side densely covered with meddifixed, appressed hairs 0.5−0.8 mm, on underside densely with strongly asymmetrically bifurcate, ascending, tangled hairs up to 0.3 mm. Peduncles 1.5−3 cm, densely tomentose. Racemes rather loosely 6−10- flowered, 2.5−3 cm long; axis 0.5−1.5 cm. Bracts 5−8 mm, 3−6 mm wide, the lower ones ovate, the upper ones ovate-oblong, subobtuse, covered with spreading black and much fewer white hairs. Calyx 14−15(−20) mm, tubular, slightly inflated toward the base, densely covered with subappressed to ascending black hairs 0.5 mm and with subbasifixed, ± spreading, tangled white hairs c. 1 mm; teeth filiforrm, 4−5 mm. Petals yellow. Standard 24−30 mm; blade obovate, c. 10 mm wide, emarginate. Wings 22−28 mm; blades narrowly oblong, rounded. Keel 20−25 mm. Ovary with a stipe 0.5−1 mm, hairy. Legumes subsessile, linear-oblong, 19−35 mm long, 5−6 mm high, compressed laterally, not grooved dorsally, with a beak c. 5 mm, bilocular; valves densely villous with ascending to spreading, subbasifixed white hairs 1.2−1.5 mm. Legumes dehiscent at the tip with 2 valves and a double septum exserted from the legumes as a 2-pointed projection.
