Podlech & Zarre (2013), vol. I, p. 538Plants up to 25 cm tall, acaulescent, white hairy. Stipules c. 25 mm, narrowly triangular, hairy at the margins near the tip. Leaves 15−25 cm; petiole 4−6 cm, like the rachis sparsely hairy. Leaflets in 21−26 pairs, elliptic, 10−20 × 5−10 mm, acute to obtuse, glabrous. Racemes with a glabrous peduncle c. 1 cm, crowded at the base of leaves. Bracts linear-acute, c. 10 mm, with few hairs at the margins. Pedicels 3−5 mm. Calyx 12−15 mm, glabrous; teeth linear-acute, 4−6 mm. Petals glabrous, yellow. Standard 26−29 mm; blade 9−10 mm wide, elliptic, emarginate, at the base gradually narrowed. Wings c. 20 mm; blades narrowly oblong, obtuse, c. 10 × 3.5 mm; auricle c. 2 mm, claw c. 10 mm. Keel c. 17 mm. Ovary shortly stipitate, glabrous. Legumes with a stipe c. 5 mm, narrowly ellipsoid, 25−27 mm long, beaked, bilocular; valves glabrous.
