Podlech & Zarre (2013), vol. III, p. 2124Plants up to 100 cm tall, subshrubby, covered with mostly appressed and ± medifixed hairs 0.5–1 (–1.2) mm. Stems branched, the old parts ligneous, with greyish brownish bark, parts of the current year rather densely to densely covered with appressed white, at the nodes sometimes also with some black hairs. Stipules greenish or reddish brownish suffused or reddish brown, 5–8(–10) mm, narrowly triangular, adnate to the petiole for 2–3 mm, loosely to rather densely white and black hairy. Leaves 3–9 cm; petiole short, 0.4–1.2 cm, like the rachis grooved adaxially, loosely white hairy. Leaflets in 4–5(–6) pairs, elliptic, (5–)10–20 × (3–)4–11 mm, rounded to subobtuse, shortly acuminate- mucronulate, on upper side glabrous or sparsely, rarely loosely appressed hairy, on underside loosely to rather densely hairy. Peduncles 3–14 cm, ± angular-sulcate, loosely covered with white, toward the raceme increasingly with black hairs, sometimes glabrescent. Racemes shortly cylindric, 3–7 cm long, densely many-flowered; axis white and black hairy. Bracts whitish-membranous, 4–7(–8) mm, linear- acute, with mostly subbasifixed to basifixed black and sometimes few white hairs. Pedicels c. 0.5 mm, predominantly black hairy. Calyx 10–13 mm, during the anthesis becoming ovoid-inflated, constricted at the mouth, at fruiting time up to 15 mm and up to 7 mm in diameter, loosely to rather densely covered with subbasifixed to basifixed, nearly straight, ascending white hairs up to 1.8 mm and with much shorter, symmetrically to asymmetrically bifurcate, flexuous, subappressed black hairs; teeth subulate, 2–2.5 mm. Petals greenish yellow. Standard 17–25 mm; blade narrowly oblong, c. 6 mm wide, slightly emarginate, slightly constricted in lower part, gradually narrowed at the base. Wings 16–18 mm; blades narrowly oblong, obliquely emarginate, 6–8 × 2 mm, auricle c. 0.3 mm, claw c. 10 mm. Keel 13–15 mm; blades obliquely obovate, with strongly curved lower edge and concave upper adeg, acute, 5 × 2.5 mm, auricle indistinct, claw 8–10 mm. Stamen-tube ± obliquely cut at the mouth. Legumes sessile, enclosed in the calyx, oblong, 9–11 mm long, c. 4 mm high, 2.5 mm wide, obtusely keeled ventrally, narrowly flattened dorsally, with a subulate beak up to 2 mm, bilocular; valves densely covered with ascending to spreading, basifixed white hairs up to 2 mm sitting on indistinct tubercles and with some, strongly asymmetrically bifurcate, spreading black hairs and with very short, bifurcate black hairs.
