Podlech & Zarre (2013), vol. I, p. 721Plants 4−16 cm tall, acaulescent, caespitose, with very fine, flexuose, white hairs up to 2.5 mm. Rootstock up to 15 mm thick, with a pluricipital root-crown. Stipules 10−15 mm, narrowly triangular- acuminate, adnate to the petiole for 4−5 mm, densely appressed hairy. Leaves numerous, (4−)8−15 cm; petiole 2−3 cm, like the rachis slender, densely covered with spreading hairs 0.5−2.5 mm. Leaflets in 22−26 pairs, touching, oblong to narrowly elliptic, (3−)4−7(−9) × 1.5−3.5 mm, rounded, on upper side very densely loosely cotton wool-like hairy with long flexuose hairs, on underside densely appressed hairy, flat. Racemes numerous, with a short peduncle up to 1 cm, covered with ascending hairs, 3−5-flowered. Bracts 3−5 2 mm, linear-acute, with spreading hairs. Pedicels 1−3 mm, hairy. Calyx 8−9 mm, campanulate, densely subappressed hairy; teeth subulate, 3−4.5 mm. Petals partly hairy, yellow. Standard 11−12 mm; blade in the middle densely appressed hairy, c. 6 mm wide, obovate-panduriform to nearly orbicular, emarginate, in lower part slightly constricted, subabruptly contracted into the short claw. Wings 10−11 mm; blades narrowly oblong, shallowly retuse, c. 7 × 2 mm; auricle 1.5 mm, claw 4−5 mm. Keel 10−11 mm; blades oblique-elliptique, with widely rectangularly curved lower edge and straight upper edge, obtuse, 6 × 3 mm; auricle short, claw 4.5−5 mm. Ovary subsessile, hairy; style glabrous, below the stigma with minute hairlets. Legumes with a stipe 1−2 mm, oblong, laterally compressed, 7−8 mm long, 4−5 mm high and 2.5−3 mm wide, sharply keeled ventrally and dorsally, contracted into a beak c. 2 mm, unilocular; valves thin, straw-colored, densely covered with long spreading hairs; fruit opening along the ventral suture.
