Leaflets in 10−18 whorls of (2−)4−6 leaflets each; leaflets narrowly elliptic to elliptic, 2−7 × 1−3 mm, rounded to slightly retuse, mostly folded. Racemes subsessile, 1−3-flowered. Bracts white-membranous, narrowly triangular, (4−)6−10 mm. Pedicels 4−6 mm. Calyx (9−)12−15 mm, tubular; teeth linear-acute, (2−) 3−5 mm. Petals yellow, fading red. Standard 23−26(−28( mm; blade c. 9 mm wide, oblong-panduriform, emarginate, distinctly constricted in lower part, angularly passing into the claw.
