Podlech & Zarre (2013), vol. III, p. 1880Plants 4−12 cm tall, acaulescent ot nearly so, caespitose. Rootstock strongly divided, with short subterranean branches. Stems of the current year many, up to 1 cm, slender, very densely covered with medifixed, appressed white hairs 0.6−0.8 mm. Stipules membranous, 1.5−3 mm, triangular to narrowly triangular, loosely to rather densely white hairy. Leaves 2−5 cm; petiole 0.5−1.5 cm, like the rachis very slender, rather densely hairy like the stem. Leaflets in 6−8 pairs, narrowly elliptic, (2−)3−7 × 0.7−1.5 mm, subobtuse, covered on upper side sparsely to loosely, on underside densely with appressed white hairs up to 1 mm. Peduncles 1.5−5 cm, slender, densely white hairy like the stem, below the raceme with black hairs mixed in. Racemes 2−3 cm long, loosely 2−3(−5)-flowered. Bracts whitish, 1−2 mm, ovate to narrowly ovate, acute, black hairy. Calyx 12−15 mm, narrowly tubular, strongly obliquely gibbous at the base, obliquely cut at the mouth, densely covered with ± medifixed, appressed to subappressed, ± flexuous black and white hairs 0.2−0.4 mm; teeth subulate, (2.5−)3−4 mm, white hairy on inner side. Petals yellow. Standard 20−25 mm; blade c. 8 mm wide, narrowly obovate, slightly emarginate, gradually narrowed toward the base. Wings 19−22 mm; blades narrowly oblong, obtuse, c. 7 × 2 mm; auricle 0.5−0.8 mm, claw 14−5 mm. Keel 18−21 mm; blades obliquely elliptic, with widely curved lower edge and slightly sigmoid upper edge, subobtuse, c. 6 × 3 mm; auricle short, claw 14−15 mm. Stamen-tube truncate at the mouth. Ovary with a stipe c. 2 mm, glabrous. Legumes sessile, linear, 30−40 mm long, 4−5 mm high, compressed laterally, obtusely keeled ventrally, narrowly and deeply grooved dorsally, with a straight beak 1−2 mm, bilocular; valves prominently cross-nerved, rather sparsely covered with very short appressed white hairs.
