Rootstock with a pluricipital root crown, with short branches, covered with blackish bark. Stems, if present, several, up to 5 cm, ligneous at the base, covered with remainders of old stipules. Stipules whitish-hyaline, c. 4 mm, triangular, adnate to the petiole for c. 2 mm, appressed white hairy. Leaves 3–6 cm; petiole 1–1.5 cm, like the rachis densely covered with ± medifixed, appressed white hairs 0.3−0.6 mm. Leaflets in 3−5 pairs, narrowly obovate, 5–14 × 1.5–3.5 mm, rounded to slightly emarginate, on both sides densely covered with medifixed, appressed white hairs 0.6−0.8 mm. Peduncles 8–20(–27) cm, loosely white hairy like the rachis, sometimes partly glabrescent with age. Racemes subglobose, c. 2.5 cm long, densely 5–20-flowered. Bracts whitish-hyaline, 1−2(−4) mm, ovate, acute, white and black hairy. Pedicels 0.5−1 mm, white and black hairy. Wings c. 12 mm; blades narrowly oblong, obtuse, c. 7 × 1.5 mm; auricle 0.5 mm, claw 5 mm. Keel 9 mm; blades obliquely elliptic, with widely curved lower edge and slightly sigmoid upper edge, subacute, c. 4 × 2 mm; auricle minute, claw 5 mm. Stamen-tube truncate at the mouth. Ovary subsessile, hairy; style glabrous. Legumes ovoid, c. 5 mm long, 2.5 mm high and 2 mm wide, keeled ventrally, grooved dorsally, with a slender, curved beak c. 2 mm, neraly fully bilocular; valves thin, densely covered extremely asymmetrically bifurcate to subbasifixed, ascending to nearly spreading white hairs 1−1.5 mm, sitting on little tubercles. Seeds mostly one in each locule, 3 × 2 mm, pale brown, shiny.
