Podlech & Zarre (2013), vol. III, p. 1882Plants 8−20 cm tall, subshrubby, loosely caespitose. Rootstock repeatedly divided, with rather slender to stout branches 1−5 cm, covered with grey brownish bark. Stems of the current year several to many, 1−4(−6) cm, erect, slender, angular-sulcate, very densely covered with medifixed, appressed white hairs 0.3−0.5 mm. Stipules 1.5−2.5 mm, narrowly triangular, green-tipped, adnate to the petiole for c. 1 mm, loosely to rather densely appressed hairy, sometimes glabrescent with age. Leaves 1−3 cm; petiole 0.3−0.8 cm, like the rachis very slender, loosely covered ± medifixed, ascending to even spreading, ± flexuose white hairs 0.4−0.5 mm. Leaflets in 3−5 pairs, linear, 5−15(−20) × 0.6−2 mm, acute, on both sides loosely covered with symmmetrically to asymmetrically bifurcate, subappressed to ascending or partly even spreading, ± flexuose white hairs 0.6−0.8 mm. Peduncles 5−12 cm, erect, hairy like the rachis; below the raceme with some black hairs mixed in. Racemes 2−3 cm long, densely (2−)4−7(−10)-flowered; rachis covered with white and black hairs. Bracts whitish-membranous, 1−2 mm, narrowly triangular, black hairy or rarely glabrate. Pedicels 1−1.5 mm, mainly black hairy. Calyx (6−)8−9 mm, tubular, covered rather densely with ± medifixed, subappressed to slightly ascending black hairs 0.2−0.4 mm and, especially at the ventral side, with basifixed, ascending, tangled white hairs 0.6−0.8 mm; teeth subulate, (1−)1.5−2 mm, white hairy on inner side. Petals pink to purple. Standard 18−21 mm; blade c. 8 mm wide, rhombic-elliptic, slightly emarginate, slightly constricted in lower third, at the base subabruptly contracted into the short claw. Wings 16−18 mm; blades narrowly oblong, obtuse, c. 8 × 1.5 mm; auricle short, claw c. 8 mm. Keel 13−15 mm; blades obliquely obovate, with in upper part widely curved lower edge and slightly sigmoid upper edge, subobtuse, c. 5 × 2.5 mm; auricle indistinct, claw c. 8 mm. Stamen-tube truncate at the mouth. Ovary subsessile, white hairy; style glabrous. Legumes sessile, narrowly linear, curved to mostly falcate, (20−)50−70 mm long, c. 1.5 mm high, rounded or obtusely keeled ventrally, with a prominent nerv dorsally, with a subulate beak 2−4 mm, bilocular; valves densely covered with ± medifixed, appressed white hairs 0.4−0.6 mm, partly glabrescent with age.
