Rootstock branched with short to elongated stolons, covered in upper part with remnants of old stipules. Stems (1–)3–15(–30) cm, angular-sulcate, loosely to rather densely covered with somewhat tangled, spreading hairs up to 1 mm. Stipules whitish-membranous, 6–11 mm, narrowly triangular, adnate to the petiole for 2–4 mm, ciliate at the margins and mostly loosely to rather densely subappressed hairy. Leaves (5–)10–25(–30) cm; petiole (1–)3–7 cm, like the rachis loosely to rather densely covered with ascending or more rarely spreading hairs 0.2–1 mm. Leaflets in 18–30(–40) pairs, narrowly elliptic to narrowly ovate, 6–20 × 2–6 mm, rounded to shortly acuminate, on upper side densely cotton wool-like hairy, often glabrescent with age, on underside loosely to rather densely appressed hairy. Racemes subsessile or with a peduncle 1–3(–5) cm and hairy like the stem, loosely (1–)3–10(–12)-flowered. Bracts whitish but often with greenish midnerv, linear-acute, 3–6 mm, hairy. Pedicels 2–4(–5) mm, hairy. Calyx (12–)14–17(–19) mm, tubular, densely covered with tangled, ascending hairs; teeth subulate, 4–8(–10) mm. Petals appressed hairy, yellow. Standard (14–)18–24 mm; blade obovate-panduriform, (7–)8–11 mm wide, emarginate, in lower part slightly constricted, subangularly narrowed into the short claw, hairy nearly on the whole dorsal side, rarely only slightly hairy or glabrous. Wings (14–)16–22 mm; blades narrowly oblong, somewhat dilated upward, slightly to dinstinctly emarginate, (7–)8–11 × 2.5–4 mm, hairy nearly on the whole outer side, rarely glabrous; auricle c. 1 mm, claw 8–11 mm. Keel 12–18 mm; blades obliquely elliptic-triangular, with widely gibbously curved lower edge and nearly straight to slightly convex upper edge, obtuse, (5–)6–7 × 3–4 mm, only connate in lower half, in upper half hairy or glabrous. Stamen-tube truncate to slightly obliquely cut at the mouth. Ovary with a stipe 2–4 mm, densely hairy; style hairy in lower half, below th stigma with minute nipple-like hairs. Legumes with a stipe 1–4 mm, narrowly ellipsoid, 11–17 mm long, 4–6 mm high and wide, slightly keeled ventrally, widely rounded to flattened or slightly grooved dorsally, with a straight beak 1–2.5 mm, incompletely bilocular; valves thin but tough, pale brown, densely covered with nearly spreading hairs up to 2 mm.
