Podlech & Zarre (2013), vol. I, p. 456Plants 16–24 cm tall, nearly acaulescent, rarely with a stem 2–4 cm, sulcate, glabrous. Stipules membranous, 14–18 mm, oblong-linear, acute, free, white and black ciliate, becoming glabrate. Leaves 10–18 cm; petiole shorter than the rachis, like the rachis grooved adaxially, covered with short white and black hairs. Leaflets in 5–9 pairs, 15–35 × 8–18 mm, narrowly oblong or narrowly elliptic to ovate or obovate, rounded to slightly emarginate or more rarely subacute, glabrous on upper side, sparsely appressed white hairy on underside. Peduncles 10–14 cm, spreading or appressed white hairy. Raceme 9–10 cm, densely many flowered. Bracts 6–12 mm, linar, acute, black hairy or mixed black and white hairy. Bracteoles present, linear, 2 mm, black hairy. Calyx 12–15 mm, tubular, shortly black hairy or sometimes also with sparse longer white hairs mixed in; teeth unequal, reaching c. 1/3 the length of the tube. Petals yellow, becoming more dark with age. Standard 22–24 mm; blade widely oblong-rectangular, 11–12 mm wide, incised, in the middle slightly constricted, angularly narrowed into the short claw. Wings 17–19 mm; blades slightly curved. Keel 13–16 mm. Ovary stipitate, densely white and sparsely black hairy; style glabrous. Legumes with a stipe up to 5 mm, narrowly ellipsoid, 29–30 mm long, 7–8 mm high, grooved dorsally, beak 3–4 mm, bilocular; valves membranous, densely covered with short black and long white hairs. Seeds numerous, 2–3 mm long, yellowish, smooth.
