Rootstock up to 12 mm in diameter, simple or branched, branches mostly short, densely covered in upper part with remnants of old stipules. Stipules whitish, narrowly triangular, long acuminate, 8–12(–15) mm, the lower ones shorter and wider than the upper ones, all adnate to the petiole for 3–4 mm, hairy to nearly glabrous. Leaves 10–30 cm; petiole 3–9 cm, like the rachis sulcate adaxially, sparsely to loosely white hairy. Leaflets in 8–11 pairs, narrowly elliptic or rarely linear, 10–35 × (1–)3–12(–15) mm, acute to acuminate, rarely subacute, mucronulate, covered on both sides sparsely to rather loosely with white hairs 0.5–1.2 mm. Peduncles 16–30 cm, striate, sparsely covered with white, toward the raceme also with black hairs. Racemes capitate to oblong, densely many-flowered, scarcely elongated in fruit; axis mostly black hairy. Bracts whitish to reddish- suffused, 5–8 mm, narrowly ovate-acute to narrowly triangular, sparsely hairy. Pedicels c. 1 mm, black hairy. Bracteoles absent. Calyx 9–12 mm, tubular, obliquely cut at the mouth, loosely covered with appressed white and somewhat shorter black hairs; teeth subulate, unequal, 2–4 mm, white hairy on inner side. Petals yellowish (?) with a lilac standard. Standard 18–22 mm; blade 5–6 mm wide, narrowly oblong-elliptic to narrowly ovate, sometimes slightly constricted below the middle, narrowly obtuse to emarginate, subabruptly contracted into the short widely cuneate claw. Wings 15–17 mm; blades narrowly oblong, obtuse, 7–9 × 2 mm; auricle c. 1 mm, claw 7–8 mm. Keel 11–13 mm; blades obliquely obovate, with in upper part widely curved lower edge and nearly straight upper edge, subacute, 5 × 2.5 mm; auricle 1 mm, claw 7–8 mm. Stamen-tube truncate at the mouth. Ovary sessile, ovoid, white hairy; style glabrous. Legumes sessile, erect, ovoid, 7–10 mm long, 5 mm high and 4 mm wide, obtusely keeled ventrally, flattened and slightly grooved dorsally, with a slender, arched-curved beak nearly as long as the body of the fruit, bilocular; valves firm, straw-colored, densely covered with subappressed to somewhat spreading, extremely asymmetrically bifurcate to subbasifixed, soft white hairs up to 2 mm and rather densely with ± appressed, flexuose, medifixed white hairs 0.2–0.3 mm.
