Podlech & Zarre (2013), vol. I, p. 747Plants 40–50 cm tall, shrubby. Old stems 5−7 mm thick, brownish grey, rather densely covered in upper part with remnants of old leaves. Stems of the current year 10–20 cm, sulcate, rather densely to densely covered with spreading white hairs 1.5–3 mm, with few very short, spreading black hairs mixed in. Stipules whitish-membranous, 16−18 mm, narrowly triangular-acuminate, the upper ones very narrow, all very shortly adnate to the petiole, otherwise free, ± densely covered with nearly spreading white hairs 1–2 mm, with some black hairs mixed in. Leaves 10−18 cm; petiole 1–2 cm, with the rachis hairy like the stem. Leaflets in 14−20 pairs, narrowly elliptic to elliptic, 10−15(−19) × 4.5–7 mm, acute and mucronulate, on upper side glabrous or sparsely to loosely, on underside loosely to rather densely covered with ascending to spreading white hairs 0.5–1 mm. Pedunles 5−6.5 cm, ± villous with long white and short black hairs. Racemes ovoid, 4−10-flowered. Bracts 9−10 mm, narrowly triangular, white and black hairy. Pedicels 2–3 mm, white and black or predominantly white hairy. Bracteoles sometimes present, whitish-membranous, 3.5−6 mm, linear, white hairy.
