Rootstock with a pluricipital root- crown and short branches, densely covered with remnants of old leaves. Stipules scarious, 5−7 mm, narrowly triangular to triangular, appressed hairy. Leaves 7−12 cm; petiole and rachis densely covered with medifixed, appressed white hairs 0.6−0.8 mm, partly becoming hard and persistent. Leaflets in 2−3 pairs, narrowly elliptic to more rarely linear, 8−20(−35) × 2−7 mm, acute, on both sides densely covered with medifixed, appressed white hairs 0.6−0.9 mm.
