Tavsif · Description
Podlech & Zarre (2013), vol. III, p. 1892Plants herbaceous to slightly subshrubby, 10–40 cm tall, with appressed, medifixed, minutely warty hairs (0.3–)0.5–1.5(–2) mm. Rootstock up to 5 mm in diameter, with a pluricipital root-crown, often with short, woody, subterranean branches. Stems solitary or mostly several, prostrate to ascending or erect; stems of the current year (1–)5–20(–30) cm, densely covered with white, below the nodes also with some black hairs 0.3–0.6 mm, sometimes partly glabrescent with age. Stipules greenish to whitish, 3–4 mm, narrowly triangular, free from the petiole, ± densely covered with white and few black hairs. Leaves (1–)3–11 cm; petiole 0.5–3 cm, like the rachis loosely to densely white hairy. Leaflets in (1–)3–6(–9) pairs, elliptic to narrowly elliptic, more rarely widely elliptic, 4–12 × 2–7 mm or rarely up to 20 × 8 mm, obtuse to subacute, or often those of upper or eaven all leaves linear to subfiliform, 8–40 × (0.5–)1–4(–5) mm, acute, covered on upper side sparsely to rather loosely, on underside more densely with appressed hairs or sometimes on both sides densely hairy. Peduncles several in the axils of upper leaves, 2.5–12 cm, hairy like the stems. Racemes at the beginning of anthesis rather densely (2–)5–12-flowered, during the anthesis and at fruiting time often strongly elongated and up to 12 cm long. Bracts whitish, 1.5–3 mm, narrowly triangular to ovate- acute, white and black hairy or predominantly black hairy. Pedicels 1–2 mm, hairy; flowers erect. Calyx 11–15 mm, narrowly tubular, distinctly obliquely gibbous at the base, obliquely cut at the mouth, rather densely covered with symmetrically to asymmetrically bifurcate, subappressed, often slightly flexuous white hairs 0.5–2 mm and whith mostly distinctly shorter black hairs; teeth narrowly triangular-acuminate to subulate, (1–)2–3.5(–4) mm, white villous at the margins, on inner side densely white villous with predominantly very thin (c. 1/2–1/3 as thick as other calyx hairs), straight or flexuose-tangled hairs up to 0.5 mm. Petals yellow. Standard 19–26(–29) mm; blade slightly curved upward in the middle, 7–10 mm wide, obovate to narrowly obovate, widely rounded-retuse to slightly emarginate, slightly constricted below the middle, subangularly to gradually narrowed at the base into the long, cuneate claw. Wings 18–25(–27) mm; blades narrowly oblong to oblong, often slightly curved, gibbous above the auricle or not, obtuse, 6–8(–9) × 2–3 mm; auricle 1 mm, claw 12–17(–18) mm. Keel 17–22(–24) mm; blades slightly elliptic-curved to obliquely elliptic, with widely curved lower edge and slightly concave upper edge, subobtuse to subacute, 5–6.5 × 2.5–3.5 mm; auricle short, triangular, claw 11–15 mm. Stamen-tube obliquely cut at the mouth. Ovary with a stipe 1–3 mm, linear, white hairy; style glabrous. Legumes spreading to somewhat pendulous, more rarely obliquely erect, with a stipe 1–3 mm, narrowly linear, slightly to distinctly curved or more rarely nearly straight, (25–)30–55 mm long, 1.5–3 mm high and wide, rounded to slightly keeled ventrally, slightly grooved to flat dorsally, shortly acuminate, bilocular; valves straw-colored, densely covered with symmetrically to asymmetrically bifurcate white hairs 0.5–1.3 mm and often also with much fewer, often distinctly shorter, ± medifixed black hairs. Seeds rectangular, 2–3 × 1.5–2 mm, brown, smooth. Note: A widespread, common and variable species in respect of the shape, length and width of the leaflets and the length of hairs. The variation is to be found often in one population or even in one plant and depends highly on the availibity of water during the growth-time. Because of absolutely corresponding variation in all characters A. maverranagri Popov, A. lancifolius Gontsch. from Tadzhikistan and Uzbekistan and A. macrosyrinx Rech.f. from northeastern Afghanistan are included in this species. The species can be divided in two weakly but geographically different subspecies:
