Tavsif · Description
Podlech & Zarre (2013), vol. I, p. 433Plants at beginning of anthesis sometimes subacaulescent, later on with elongating stem and up to 65 cm tall, covered with soft, white hairs. Rootstock stout, up to 30 mm thick, branched. Stems singular or several, at the end up to 50 cm, stout, angular-sulcate, sometimes distinctly zig-zag-like bent, densely covered with spreading hairs 0.5–1 mm. Stipules green, 6–9 mm, from wide, nearly amplexicaul base triangular-acuminate, free or shortly adnate to the petiole, with spreading hairs. Leaves 13–25(–30) cm; petiole 2.5–6 cm, like the rachis stout, with short, dense, spreading hairs. Leaflets in 4–8(–9) pairs, remote, suborbicular to slightly wider than long, (7–)10–32) mm long and wide, widely rounded to slightly retuse, glabrous on upper side, densely covered with short, appressed to spreading, tangled hairs on underside. Racemes subsessile, 5–10 cm, many-flowered, rarely only 3–5-flowered, at fruiting time elongated up to 15 cm; axis hairy like the stem. Bracts green, linear, acute, 8–12 mm, densely hairy. Pedicels 2–3 mm, hairy. Bracteoles green, filiform, 3–5 mm, hairy, in upper part of the pedicel. Calyx at anthesis 14–16(–20) mm, tubular to slightly inflated, very densely covered with spreading hairs 1–2 mm; teeth narrowly triangular, (3–)4–5.5(–6) mm, densely appressed hairy on inner side; calyx at fruiting time 18–30 mm, ovoid- to ellipsoid-inflated, netlike nerved, loosely to rather densely covered with spreading hairs; teeth 7–8 mm. Petals yellow. Standard 26–32 mm; blade 7–9 mm wide, narrowly elliptic, slightly emarginate, gradually narrowed into the rather long claw. Wings ± as long as the standard; blades narrowly oblong, rounded, 15–18 × 3–4 mm; auricle wide, c. 1 mm, claw 11–14 mm. Keel 25–31 mm; blades narrowly elliptic, straight, rounded, 12–15 × 3.5–5 mm; auricle wide, c. 1 mm, claw 13–15 mm. Stamen-tube ± truncate at the mouth. Ovary with a stipe 2–4 mm, glabrous. Legumes with a stipe 3–4 mm, 8–15 mm long, 5–6 mm high and 4–5 mm wide, keeled ventrally, deeply and widely grooved dorsally, with a slender beak 2–3 mm, bilocular; valves thin, transversely nerved, glabrous. Seeds 5.5–6 × 4–4.5 mm, dirty reddish brown, rugulose. Occurrence: sandy steppes and deserts.
