Peduncles erect, 3−9 cm, densely hairy like the stem, toward the raceme mostly with black hairs mixed in. Racemes ovoid so shortly cylindric, 4−8 cm long, rather loosely to densely many-flowered. Bracts whitish-membranous, the lower ones linear, acuminate, up to 10 mm, the upper ones ovate-triangular, up to 5−6 mm, white and black hairy. Pedicels c. 1 mm, white and black hairy. Calyx 9−13 mm, shortly tubular, covered with mostly strongly asymmetrically bifurcate, appressed to partly ascending black hairs 0.5−1(−1.5) mm and with subbasifixed to basifixed, spreading white hairs up to 2 mm; teeth subulate, (3−)5−7 mm, white and black hairy on inner side. Petals purple. Standard 18−22 mm; blade rhombic-elliptic, shortly tongue- like narrowed upward, slightly emarginate to rounded, with a short, cuneate claw.
