Stipules yellowish-membranous, 3−4 mm, narrowly triangular, shortly adnate to the petiole, ± densely covered with subappressed, medifixed, white hairs c. 1 mm, at the margins also with subbasifixed hairs. Leaves 4−6 cm; petiole 2−3 cm, like the rachis loosely covered with ± medifixed, appressed white hairs 0.8–1 mm, becoming hard with age and partly persistent.
