Podlech & Zarre (2013), vol. I, p. 775Plants 8–10 cm tall, spiny shrubs, forming dense cushions. Stipules chartaceous, 3–5 mm, triangular, adnate to the petiole, hairy. Leaves 2.5–4 cm; rachises hairy, spiny. Leaflets in 8–12 pairs, narrowly elliptic, 5–7 × 2 mm, on upper sside sparsely, on underside densely white hairy. Pedicels up to 3 mm. Calyx 20–21 mm, tubular, white and black hairy; teeth linear, 3–4 mm. Petals yellow, glabrous. Standard 29–30 mm; blade 8–9 mm wide, oblong, gradually narrowed at the base. Wings 30–31 mm; blades narrowly oblong, c. 10 mm; auricle up to 3 mm, claw 20–21 mm. Keel unknown. Legumes sessile, narrowly oblong, 20–24 mm long, 8–9 mm high, compressed laterally, obtusely keeled ventrally, narrowly grooved dorsally, with a beak c. 2 mm, bilocular; valves coriaceous, densely white hairy. Seeds 6–8.
