Stems in older parts ligneous, with castaneous brown bark; parts of the current year 10−20 cm, densely covered with medifixed, appressed white hairs 0.5−0.8 mm, sometimes with black hairs mixed in. Stipules green, (7−)10−15 mm, narrowly ovate, adnate to the petiole for c. 2 mm, sparsely hairy like the stem, ciliate at the margins. Leaves 8−15 cm, subsessile; rachis sparsely white hairy like the stipules. Leaflets in 6−9 pairs, elliptic to widely elliptic, 12−30 × 7−15 mm, on upper side glabrous or rarely with scattered hairs only, on underside sparsely covered with medifixed, appressed hairs c. 1 mm. Peduncles 13−18.5 cm; white hairy, toward thew raceme with black hairs. Racemes ovoid, 4−5 cm long, densely many-flowered. Bracts 8−13 mm, linear-acute, very sparsely hairy. Calyx 15−17 mm, tubular, loosely covered with asymmetrically bifurcate, appressed black hairs up to 1 mm and with basifixed, ± spreading, tangled white hairs up to 1.5 mm; teeth subulate, 6−8 mm. Petals yellowish. Standard 24−27 mm; blade in te middle orbicular, c. 12 mm wide, abruptly narrowed into an oblong, tungue-like appendix 7 × 5 mm, slightly retuse, at the base abruptly contracted into the narrowly cuneate claw c. 12 mm long. Wings 18−20 mm; blades narrowly oblong, obtuse, c. 8 × 3 mm; auricle c. 1 mm, claw 12 mm. Keel 15−17 mm; blades triangular-obovate, with widely rectangularly curved loweredge and ± straight upper edge, subacute, c. 7 × 4 mm. Ovary subsessile, linear, densely white hairy. Legumes sessile, narrowly oblong, 15−20 mm long, 4−5 mm high, keeled ventrally, grooved dorsally, with a slightly reflexed beak 8−11 mm, bilocular; valves coriaceous, rather densely covered with subappressed black hairs, with scattered, longer white hairs mixed in.
