Podlech & Zarre (2013), vol. I, p. 726Plants 10−20 cm tall, shortly caulescent, more rarely nearly acaulescent, with very fine white hairs. Rootstock up to 10 mm thick, divided, with short subterranean branches. Stems 4−10(−15) cm, ascending to erect, angular-sulcate, densely covered with tangled, spreading hairs 0.5−2 mm. Stipules white-membranous, 8−11 mm, very narrowly triangular, long acuminate, adnate to the petiole for 2−3 mm, sparsely to loosely covered with nearly spreading hairs, long ciliate at the margins. Leaves 5−17 cm; petiole 2−3 cm, like the rachis slender, mostly upcurved, densely covered with tangled, spreading hairs 0.5−12 mm. Leaflets in 11−22 pairs, narrowly elliptic, 4−11 × 1−3 mm, obtuse to subacute, on upper side densely cotton wool-like hairy, on underside rather densely covered with ascending hairs. Racemes with a slender, peduncle 1−1.5 cm, with dense, spreading hairs, loosely 3−8-flowered. Bracts white-membranous, 3−6 mm, linear to filiform, with spreading hairs. Pedicels slender, 2−5 mm, hairy. Calyx 8−11 mm, tubular-campanulate, with spreading hairs; teeth subulate, 4.5−7 mm. Petals partly hairy, yellow. Standard 11−13 mm; blade hairy on dorsal side allover or only along the midline, 6−7 mm wide, obovate to slightly panduriform, emarginate, slightly constricted below the middle, subangularly narrowed into the short claw. Wings 10−12 mm; blades glabrous, narrowly oblong, slightly emarginate, 6−7 × 2 mm; auricle c. 1 mm, claw 3−4 mm. Keel 10−11 mm; blades oblique- elliptic-triangular, with widely rectangularly curved lower edge and nearly straight upper edge, obtuse, 5−6 × 3 mm; auricle c. 1 mm, acute, claw 3−4 mm. Stamen-tube irregularly truncate at the mouth. Ovary sessile, appressed hairy; style hairy in lower part, below the stigma minutely papillose. Legumes subsessile, oblong, 7−8 mm long, 4−5 mm high and c. 3 mm wide, keeled ventrally, shallowly grooved dorsally, contracted into an oblique beak c. 1 mm, incompletely bilocular; valves thin but tough, pale brown, densely covered with long, nearly spreading hairs; fruit opening along the ventral suture.
