Stems of the current year 5–30 cm, branched, whitish grey, very densely covered with ± medifixed appressed, white and scattered black, at the nodes with predominantly black hairs 0.3–0.7 mm. Stipules 2.5–4 mm, narrowly triangular, very shortly adnate to the petiole, predominantly black, more rarely white hairy. Leaves (3–)4–7 cm, those of the brachyblasts only up to 1 cm; petiole 1–1.5 cm, like the rachis slender, finely sulcate adaxially, loosely to densely covered with white appressed hairs. Leaflets in 5–7(–8) pairs, in brachyblast leaves in 2–5 pairs, linear, 4–12 × 0.3–1(–1.5) mm, obtuse, covered on upper side sparsely to loosely, on underside densely with appressed white hairs up to 0.8 mm, sometimes glabrous on upper side, margins mostly incurved or leaflets folded. Peduncles 8–18 cm, loosely to rather densely covered with appressed, in upper part to nearly spreading white hairs, toward the raceme with increasing black hairs. Racemes at anthesis oblong, rather densely 15–40-flowered, later on strongly elongated up to 18 cm; axis densely covered woth predominantly spreading white hairs 0.5–1 mm. Bracts 3–4 mm, narrowly triangular, mainly black hairy. Pedicels c. 1 mm, densely hairy. Calyx 14–16 mm, narrowly tubular, obliquely gibbous at the base, obliquely cut at the mouth, densely covered with spreading, basifixed white hairs up to 1.5 mm and with very short, appressed to spreading, basifixed to medifixed black hairs up to 0.3 mm; teeth 2–2.5 mm, mainly black hairy. Petals dingy pale violet, drying dirty yellowish. Standard 23–25 mm; blade c. 10 mm wide, obovate, rounded and slightly emarginate, gradually narrowed at the base into the narrowly cuneate claw. Wings equalling the standard; blades obovate, rounded or slightly retuse, 7.5–8 × 4–4.5 mm; auricle c. 0.5 mm, claw 15–16 mm. Keel 21–23 mm; blades obliquely elliptic-triangular, with widely curved lower edge and nearly straight upper edge, subacute, c. 6.5 × 4 mm; auricle short and wide, claw 15 mm.
