Podlech & Zarre (2013), vol. III, p. 1681Plants up to 27 cm tall. Stems 15–19 cm,slender, branched, with long internodes, appressed white hairy. Stipules greenish, 4–5 mm, ovate to triangular, white hairy, with few black hairs mixed in, connate at the base, rarely the upper ones free. Leaves 5–7 cm; petiole and rachis appressed white hairy. Leaflets in 3–5(–6) pairs, narrowly elliptic, 7–13 × 2–3 mm, on upper side sparsely, on underside densely covered with medifixed white hairs. Peduncles 5–8 cm, appressed white and black hairy. Racemes 1–1.5 cm long, capitate or ovoid, many-flowered. Bracts 4–5 mm, linear, white and black hairy. Flowers subsessile. Calyx 11–13 mm, tubular, white and black hairy; teeth linear, 6–8 mm. Petals violet. Standard 14–15 mm; blade oblong, emarginate, constricted in the middle, gradually narrowed into the short claw. Wings 12–13 mm; blades narrowly oblong, bilobed; auricle short. Keel 10–11 mm;; auricle indistinct, claw up to 6 mm. Ovary oblong, densely white hairy; style glabrous. Legumes unknown.
