Stems in the old parts woody, branched, glabrous with brownish, rugose bark, short or more rarely up to 12 cm; stems of the current year 5–10 cm, whitish-grey, densely covered with ± medifixed hairs 0.3–0.7 mm. Stipules (3–)4−5 mm, the lower ones triangular, the upper ones narrowly triangular, free from the petiole, ± densely covered with white hairs, sometimes with black hairs mixed in. Leaves 4–6.5 cm; petiole 1–1.5 cm, like the rachis densely covered with appressed white hairs 0.8–1.5 mm, rarely also with few black hairs mixed in. Leaflets in 4–5(–6) pairs, those of lower leaves ovate to elliptic, 3–7 × 1.5–4 mm, obtuse, those of upper leaves narrowly elliptic to linear, 9–13 × 2–3 mm, subacute, covered on upper side loosely to rather densely, on underside more densely with appressed hairs 1–1.5 mm. Peduncles 4–6 cm, loosely hairy. Racemes 4−8 cm long, very loosely 4–15(–22)- flowered,, at fruiting time up to 22 cm long. Bracts 1.5−3 mm, narrowly triangular, white and partly also black hairy. Pedicels 1.5–32 mm, hairy. Calyx (14–)15−18 mm, narrowly tubular, laterally gibbous at the base, strongly obliquely cut at the mouth, rather densely covered with white, partly also with black hairs; teeth 2–4 mm. Petals yellow. Standard 22–27 mm; blade 8–10 mm wide, obovate, slightly emarginate, narrowed at the base into the distinct claw. Wings 21–27 mm; blades narrowly oblong, obtuse, 8–10 × 3–3.5 mm; auricle c. 1 mm, claw 13–17 mm. Keel 19–22 mm; blades obliquely elliptic, with in upper part widely curved lower edge and nearly straight upper edge, subacute, 6 × 3 mm; auricle minute, claw 13–16 mm. Stamen-tube truncate at the mouth. Ovary with a stipe 2.5–5 mm, glabrous. Legumes with a stipe 4–8 mm, linear, straight, 20–35 mm long, c. 2 mm high and 3 mm wide, flat with prominent midnerv ventrally and dorsally, acuminate for c. 2 mm, unilocular; valves thinly coriaceous, glabrous.
