Podlech & Zarre (2013), vol. III, p. 1909Plants 20−35 cm tall, furnished with only white hairs. Rootstock divided, with short subterranean branches. Stems several, 6−14 cm, angular-sulcate, very densely covered with medifixed, appressed hairs c. 0.5 mm, sometimes glabrescent with age. Stipules green, 1−2(−2.5) mm, narrowly triangular, acuminate, free from each other, glabrous or with isolated hairs. Leaves 3.5−11 cm; petiole 1.5−2 cm, like the rachis mostly densely covered with short, appressed hairs. Leaflets in 3−6 pairs, obovate, (5−)7−10 × 3−6 mm, subobtuse to scarcely retuse, often minutely mucronulate, rather thick, sparsely to densely covered with medifixed, subappressed hairs 0.6−1 mm. Peduncles 8−15 cm, angular- sulcate, hairy like the stem, sometimes glabrescent with age. Racemes 4−12 cm long, remotely 10−14- flowered. Bracts c. 1 mm, ovate-triangular, sparsely hairy to subglabrous. Stamen-tube truncate at the mouth. Legumes subsessile, erect, narrowly oblong, slightly to distinctly curved, 10−15 mm long, c. 2.5 mm high, compressed laterally, keeled ventrally, grooved dorsally, with a slender, straight beak 1−2 mm and often persistent style, nearly completely bilocular; valves coriaceous, pale green, densely covered with medifixed, appressed to subappressed white hairs c. 1 mm..
