Peduncle 1–2 cm, subappressed hairy, glabrescent with age. Racemes globose, c. 3–3.5 cm in diameter, densely many-flowered. Bracts whitish-membranous, subulate, 10–12 mm, white hairy. Bracteoles absent. Calyx campanulate, 12–13 mm, very densely covered with subappressed white hairs 2–3 mm; teeth subulate, 6–8 mm.
