Rootstock shortly branched, in upper part covered with remnants of old leaves. Stems of the current year short, 1–5 cm, angular-sulcate, densely hairy. Stipules whitish, 3–6 mm, triangular (the lower) to narrowly triangular (the upper), adnate to the petiole for 1.5–2 mm, otherwise free from each other, hairy. Leaves 6–22 cm; petiole 3–9 cm, like the rachis loosely to rather densely hairy, partly becoming hard and persistent but not spiny. Leaflets in 4–6 pairs, remote, widely obovate to orbicular, 6–15 × 5–15 mm, rounded to truncate, minutely mucronulate, distinctly reticulate-nerved on both sides, loosely to rather densely hairy on both sides, on lower side somewhat more densely than on upper side. Peduncles 13–45(–60) cm, loosely to rather densely white hairy. Racemes very remotely 8–15-flowered, 12–25 cm long. Bracts whitish, 2–2.5 mm, ovate-triangular, sparsely hairy. Pedicels c. 2 mm, black and white hairy. Calyx 15–18 mm, tubular, slightly inflated in fruit, obliquely cut at the mouth, loosely covered with white hairs, with few short black hairs mixed in; teeth subulate, 2–3 mm, on inner side white villous. Petals yellow. Standard 26–30 mm; blade 7–8 mm wide, narrowly obovate, scarcely retuse, gradually narrowed at the base into the narrowly cuneate claw. Wings 23–25 mm; blades narrowly oblong, scarcely and obliquely emarginate, 8 × 2.5–3 mm; auricle c. 1 mm, claw 15–16 mm. Keel 20–21 mm; blades obliquely obovate-upcurved, with widely curved lower edge and sigmoid to slightly concave upper edge, subacute, 7 × 3 mm; auricle short, claw 13–14 mm. Stamen-tube truncate at the mouth. Ovary with a stipe 3–4 mm, oblong, white villous; style glabrous. Legumes pendulous, with a stipe 3–4 mm, narrowly ellipsoid, attenuate at both ends, 10–15 mm long, 4–5 mm high, 3–4 mm wide, obtusely keeled ventrally, shallowly grooved dorsally, with a straight beak 1–2 mm, bilocular; valves pale brownish, firm, warty, densely covered with subappressed to spreading, tangled, extremely asymmetrically bifurcate to subbasifixed, subrigid white hairs up to 2 mm and inserted in little warty tubercles. Seeds 3 in each locule, rectangular- reniform, 4 × 2.5–3 mm.
