Podlech & Zarre (2013), vol. III, p. 1917Plants 30−40 cm tall, subshrubby; Stems of the current year 5−20 cm, densely covered with appressed white hairs. Stipules 1−2 mm, dense black hairy. Leaves 1.5−2.5 cm. Leaflets in 2−4 pairs, 10−13 × 1.5−2 mm, acute, on both sides densely hairy. Peduncles 15−25 cm. Racemes dense. Bracts membranous, 1.5−2 mm. black hairy. Calyx 7−9 mm, tubular, densely covered with spreading white and black hairs; teeth 1.5−2 mm. Petals violet. Standard 15−18 mm; blade; blade rhombic, 7−8 mm long, emarginate. Wings 15−17 mm. Keel 13−15 mm. Legumes sessile, horizontally spreading, linear, 30−35 mm long, 1.5−2 mm high and wide, keeled ventrally, triangular in cross-section, blocular; valves densely covered with spreading white and black hairs.
